Taking place on the 13th and 14th of August, the Anglesey show is a fantastic agricultural event which is the second largest of its kind in wales, second to only The Royal Welsh show. The show is always a roaring success, always promising an unforgettable weekend of events, achievement and fun!

It is held at the Mona Showground at the very heart of Anglesey, and attracts visitors from all over the UK. Over 60,000 people usually make their way into the show over its two unforgettable days!

It’s a massive friendly city of a tents and stalls, and it can be pretty tiring, luckily there are plenty of places to have a sit-down and a cup of tea to rejuvenate yourself so you can survive the days exploring the jungle of sights sounds and smells.

There are not many things which you can’t find at the Anglesey Show, in fact it will probably take you the whole of the two days to see everything that’s on display, and you will be so captivated by some things that you’ll revisit it a few times. With a funfair, shire horses, goats, falconry and ferret racing (of course lots of animals, as you would expect from an agricultural show).

This year is set to be the most successful yet, unmissable for any animal lover, fan of agriculture, or even anyone who loves a great day out, perfect for the whole family.
Every year there’s new interesting things to see, so people return year after year to see returning favorites as well as new uncovered treasure.

Not local to the area? why not make a trip out of it, there is plenty of variety for accommodation in Anglesey so you can have a truly memorable stay on this gorgeous Welsh isle.

The show only costs £12 per adult, £8 for senior citizens and £3 for children over 5 years old.
