You can say a lot of great things about the Isle of Anglesey when it comes to the events and activities. It’s always such a huge draw for visitors because of this but you might not have thought of it as a great place for pets to have fun too!
On the 26th of May, you and your furry friend can get stuck in to a whole array of fun activities at the historic location of Ucheldre. Based in Holyhead, it is one of the oldest venues of its kind throughout Britain and is always popular thanks to the shows and performances available to watch from the 200-seat auditorium.
Do you think your pooch can compete against other s in many exciting competitions for a grand prize? Then the Doggy Fun Day will provide the perfect day out and just a couple of the activities you can take part in include dog dressage and dog tunnel racing during the Bank Holiday.
Anyone who’s fond of Britain’s Got Talent will no doubt be familiar with dog dressage as Ashleigh and Pudsey won the competition back in 2012. The duo have gone on since then to produce their own film set for release on the 23rd of May, be guest judges on panel shows, write their own book and have netted a cool £1million since beating Jonathan and Charlotte in the final of BGT. Not bad for a dancing dog!
Though the event at Ucheldre isn’t quite on the same level, there’s still going to be some fierce competition in both fixtures on the day. The tunnel racing is set to be equally challenging as anyone who’s ever watched Crufts will be able to tell you that not even the experts always get it right!
If you’re thinking of entering, don’t be deterred when you find out that a highly respected judge will be running the rule over your display at this fun for all the family event. You can either enter on the day or fill out an entry form from the centre before the 26th of May.
