Tan-y-Foel Country HouseA highly original country house for people who want something out of the ordinary......

Established as country house accommodation since 1991, we pride ourselves with having created a little piece of Welsh heaven that would be difficult to emulate by any other hotel in Snowdonia.

A five star country house listed amongst the finest hotels in Wales, our Snowdonian luxury hideaway offers unique, quiet and intimate accommodation and a gourmet sanctuary for the discerning traveller, who seeks the ultimate of holidays in Wales.

Independent and family owned the consistent hand of the owners can be felt at all times; while serving breakfast; welcoming guests and being a presence in the restaurant in the evening, we offer a special kind of North Wales holiday experience suitable only for those wishing to stay in a small boutique country house in Snowdonia.

Tan-y-Foel Country House Unlike many other country house hotels in Wales, the traditional 17th century Welsh stone exterior belies, what lies within, for once inside the entranceway opens into a stunning sequence of intimate, immaculately designed rooms, where a fusion of traditional and contemporary style is allied with simplicity, and a total ban on smoking prevails.

Six extremely well-appointed luxurious no smoking guest bedrooms - some with four poster king beds - are all decorated with imaginative flair

Bedrooms have been individually designed with a very different colour scheme chosen in each room. In-house design over fifteen years of trading has resulted in the most recent award of The Which? Guide to Good Hotels 2004 Individual Flair Award and The Which? Guide to Good Hotels 1998 Imaginative Bedroom Award.Commended 2006 The Which? Good Food Guide.
